New beer, ALT FACTS, releases today! #FakeBrews

Back in April, our owners and head brewer left town on a business trip, leaving a vacuous void of leadership on the home front. The alternate universe created by these circumstances allowed assistant brewers Ian and Christian to secretly commandeer the brewhouse to produce one of Ian's personal specialities. The result: Alt Facts, a post-truth German ale. 

Brewer's Notes:

Brewed in the "sticke"-style of Düsseldorf altbier ("sticke" means "secret") using 100% German malt and hops, Alt Facts pours a brilliant copper and features a robust malt character of caramel and toasted bread aromas, balanced by a firm hop bitterness and flavor reminiscent of fresh dried herbs and citrus rind, with hints of pipe tobacco, and a crisp finish.
