“IT WAS A HOT AND STORMY NIGHT” — not to sound melodramatic but that’s how the story really begins. Back in the spring of 2013, we set out, amid treacherous weather, to help grow the local brewing community— one deliciously crafted beer at a time.
What began as an unlikely duo, consisting of Zac, a banking analyst turned bartender, and Joe, a former biology major, quickly transitioned into a dream team with the same mindset: creating authentically crafted beer.
At the time, we saw an opportunity to join in the local craft beer movement. We knew it was time to share our passion for quality beer with other enthusiasts and do our part to establish a younger generation of craft brewers, focused on quality ingredients, traditional brewing techniques, and consistent quality in every glass or can with our name on it. We began perfecting the art of beer making in a local co-op space, until it was eventually time to expand our operations and grow our brand.
In 2015, we opened our Saint Paul location and partnered with two essential team members: Andy, a professionally educated brewer with an innate talent for concocting beer with amazing flavor; and Logan, who helps manage the quality and consistency of our brewing process and finished products, while identifying areas where we can improve our beer quality and shelf-life.
Today, our 20-barrel brewhouse and taproom offers our favorite patrons good vibes, great service, and most importantly, consistent taste from our diverse selection of beers. From traditional lagers to sour ales, we continually rotate our selection to keep friends coming back despite bad weather. Whether you’re grabbing
a six-pack off the shelf or trying a seasonal beer contender in our taproom, each product offers a distinct personality and is artfully created to play tribute to our brand’s ability to endure anything mother nature throws our way.
