To enhance the strong, rich, malty character known for this style we took our first runnings and boiled them for some extra malt caramelization. Fermented cold for a clean, intense malt forward beer. Aroma’s of strong sweet malt, carmel, fig, subtle roast with very low earthy hop character. Flavors of strong and sweet rich caramel malt along with fig, raisin, and a touch of roast. Very low hop bitterness. Full/Medium bodied.  Pours a brilliant dark copper with a beige head.
