Popularized by Birrificio Italiano’s Tipopils in Italy, this lager style has been gaining some momentum in the US. We thought we’d take a crack at one. At heart, ours is a German Pils but with a twist. It's dry hopped twice during lagering. No, not a 5lb per barrel hop bomb. 2, small dry hop additions for delicate hop flavors and aromas. Honey/cracker malt flavors with a soft/spicy bitterness. Semi-sweet malt and floral, lemon, mint, spicy, herbal hop aromas. Light/medium bodied that finishes dry. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head.
