First made by brewers in Einbeck Germany, then adopted by Munich brewers. A springtime release after a long lagering period. This robust malty beer is brewed with German Pilsner and Munich malts. A double decoction, long boil, and long lagering period give a full bodied, malty, clean beer. Aromas of light toasted malt and a subtle hop floral/spiciness. Rich, sweet, toasted malt flavor with a light spicy hop finish. Pours a clear deep gold with a white head.
