Our first lager from what we are calling our "Heritage Lager Series".

This idea was born from the idea that in a fast paced industry where everybody wants the next beer flavor we didn't want to forget how we got here. Who was here before us? How was lager brewed in the past? These beers will be based on older style lager bier, old world brewing techniques, historical ingredients, and maybe even collaborations with past/present brewers.

Yesterday's brew is a collaboration of sorts. A Light American Adjuct Lager. Thought up from a meeting and brainstorming with the last 2 Brewmasters from the historic Schmidt Brewery in St. Paul, Sig Plagens and Phil Gagne. Brewed with similar methods and ingredients they used at Schmidt. A great way to launch this series! Look for this at the taproom and in crowlers in about 4 weeks.
