Limited supply on tap. The barrel aged version will be out later this winter.
While the majority of our Old Ale is slumbering away in Brett barrels we pulled off a few kegs for the taproom. Old Ale is kind of a cross between a Strong Ale and Barleywine that is generally served after significant aging. Aroma’s of raisin, toast, and brown sugar. Flavors of sweet caramel, molasses, with a moderate maltiness. Medium bodied, low bitterness, with a sweet finish. Pours a ruby red with a light tan head.
