A collab? A friendly competition? A collabpetition? It's a Crosstown Classic of epic proportions. Two of your favorite breweries on either side of the Mighty Mississip’ (us and Arbeiter Brewing Co.) teamed up to bring you TWO cool new beers born of the same wort! Parti-Gyle Style!

We needed to start with a massive beer in order to split the batch in two. So we used the first half of the runnings (the high gravity wort, or the sort with the most sugar) to make a 10.3% Belgian Double IPA for us here in St. Paul. We then collected the second runnings (lower gravity, less sugary wort) and shipped 10 barrels of it to Arbeiter in Minneapolis to make a "smaller" 8.1% Belgian IPA.

We might be on opposite sides of the river but we’re playing for the same team! The team that makes the best damn beer for the beer lovers. And either ‘Duel City’ Belgian IPAs will not disappoint.

*EXTRA INNINGS* If you buy a crowler of Duel City from either brewery you’ll get a free beer token for the other joint. Take a little trip and try out each other’s beers. Take home a Duel City crowler from both breweries and let us know what you think!
