Similar to a Marzen only lighter in color, slightly more bitter, and lighter bodied. This is typically the beer of choice in Munich during Oktoberfest. Its darker, maltier brother Marzen is more popular here in the U.S. Aroma’s of toasted, honey malt and light floral hops. Honey and toast malt flavors, with a light bitterness. Medium bodied that finished clean and dry. Pours a clear deep yellow with a white head.
